Robba's Thoughts on IIS, Technology, God and Life

My thoughts on Tech and life.

New header background image

I said before that I was going to put a new image on the header as soon as I found one.  Well I found a couple that I liked, so I spent a couple of hours playing with Photoshop tonight.  First of all I used the PaperClip_Blog PSD to create the individual images.  Then I used the ImageReady tool in Photoshop and made a "moving" image.  I set the time interval for 60 seconds so it wouldn't be too annoying.  Then saved and exported to GIF.  Upload the GIF and tada I have a background image that rotates between two beautiful places.  I just wish I could be there right now.  Ahhhhh a cold drink and, warm sun and a morning dive. Wishing wishing wishhhhhhh

I love the header pics. I'd suggest reducing the time from 60 seconds, though. I've read through each of your posts and I didn't even realize it rotated until I read the post you wrote about it. I probably spent a minute or less on each one, or on the longer posts I had probably already scrolled down far enough that I couldn't see the header by the time it rotated.

BTW, thanks for the links to Scott Forsyth's and Steve Schofield's blogs. I've talked to Steve a few times about some issues with our sites and servers and I've read some articles by Scott, but I didn't realize they had blogs.
