MTV videos online

So I was a kid of the 80's.  I remember when MTV came out and I actually occasionally got to watch it.  I have to admit that I disliked most of it, but I really looked forward to catching "Headbangers Ball" at midnight on the weekends.  Well, MTV has released a new website similar to Hulu where you can watch music videos of your favorite band.  So far, I've watched Alice in Chains, Metallica and Pantera.  I'm loving this site.

Props to MTVMusic.

I've tried to embed a video here, but it doesn't look like CS likes the embed tags that MTV is using.  Darn it. Wink

My first date with Emily

Tonight I took Emily out for our first Daddy/ Daughter date.  She wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's to ride in a car driving game that we had done together almost a year ago.  On my way home I stopped and got her some red carnations (red is her favorite color).  I got dressed up and she did too, Mommy did her hair.  Big Smile  Then we took pictures and off we went.

We had a great time.  Ate pizza, rode rides, played games and just hung out together.

I'm really looking forward to this being a recurring thing.

Having fun, or funny YouTube videos

I'm not a nay sayer or overly pessimistic, but I have to admit that the economy isn't looking great right now.  Lots of people are worried, but honestly I think this is a perfect time for an individual or company to grab their collective bootstraps and kick some butt.  When everyone else is panicing that is when smart people spend their money wisely and buy companies, parts of companies or invest in their own companies.

But I digress.  This is about a little fun.  I love the muppets.  Jim Henson created such an amazing and long living creation here.  Many thanks to him, his son and their team for all the work they've done over the years.  Here are a couple of my favorites.

I know this one is somebody playing with thier work, but I really like it.

Emily loves the Mahna Mahna song.

Hope these make you smile as well.  Let me know if you have other favorite muppet videos.  (keep it clean please)
