My first date with Emily

Tonight I took Emily out for our first Daddy/ Daughter date.  She wanted to go to Chuck E Cheese's to ride in a car driving game that we had done together almost a year ago.  On my way home I stopped and got her some red carnations (red is her favorite color).  I got dressed up and she did too, Mommy did her hair.  Big Smile  Then we took pictures and off we went.

We had a great time.  Ate pizza, rode rides, played games and just hung out together.

I'm really looking forward to this being a recurring thing.

YOU, my dear Rob, are a wonderful father!!!  Emily will come to look so forward to the "Daddy/Daughter" time together with you alone.  You are creating an internal memory book for her and those memories will come to mean so much to her.

Too bad ALL CHILDREN coulnd't be blessed with such strong, loving, and caring parents!
