I started this blog over 15 years ago, while I was working in the IT industry. Prior to IT, I was in the Army for about seven years as an Infantryman. AND crazy enough, after spending about 11 years in IT, I went back into the Army. I am a former airborne paratrooper. I was out for 13 years but joined again as a Chemical Operations Specialist.
Once I got back into the Army, I forgot this blog was even out in the wild. I am now a Warrant Officer and have been back in the Army for over 12 years. I’ve been a paratrooper a couple of different times, deployed to Iraq, lived in Korea, North Carolina, Maryland, Georgia, and El Paso. Even better, I’ve also submitted my retirement packet and plan on going back into the IT field. I’m like a CRAZY boomerang!!!
Now, I’m going to post and share my experiences, but most of all, I can share what God is doing in my life and how He is speaking to me.
As for things I like to do… I’m truly a geek at heart, so I love fixing/playing with techie stuff. I also love to do woodworking, hiking with my girls, family game nights, playing guitar, and camping (RV type 🙂 ).
The general cast of characters are: me of course, Robba, my wife of 21+ years who I call Bride, and our 18-year-old daughter who gets various names, but usually Bug (as in Bugaboo).
Oh, and by-the-way, the favicon is a painting of a donkey that Bug made for me. I love her and I like donkeys, so I thought it would be a fun icon.
If you’re reading this, I hope you can laugh with me, sometimes at me, but most of all, that you can see the amazingness of our God.
